Hi go to the Crucial website, there is a utility supplied by crucial that will tell you what you have installed, and what memory is compatible with your system. I would go for as much as you can afford barring system limitations. I think with 32Bit Operating systems 2Gb is the most an OS will use; I may have that wrong, but I can remember reading somewhere, that, even though you can have, say, up to 4Gb installed, windows will pretty much ignore anything above 2Gb.
